When Filippo Loreti released the officially licensed Spider-Man: The Web of Time watch on October 2, 2025, we published an initial article based on the information available at launch. Since then, the watch has been used, tested, photographed, filmed in different lighting conditions, and shown to several Spider-Man cosplayers for their feedback.
This review comes from hands-on experience with the watch and feedback from fans who tried it during filming.
A video version of this review, including direct reactions from Spider-Man cosplayers, is available here: Spider-Man Web of Time Watch
First Impressions
The Web of Time watch makes a strong visual impression as soon as it’s unboxed. The embossed Spider-Man mask on the dial stands out immediately, and the stainless-steel case gives it a clean, character-inspired look. The design reflects Spider-Man without feeling overly stylised or cartoonish.
The watch has a comfortable weight that suggests solid construction and feels closer to a traditional mechanical timepiece than a themed accessory.

Glow-in-the-Dark Dial
One of the standout features of the Web of Time watch is the blue glow in the dark lume on the eyes. When the watch is exposed to light such as sunlight or indoor lighting, the lume charges and then gives off a soft blue glow in darker environments. It’s subtle but clearly visible in a dark room and adds a nighttime, Spider-Man-inspired atmosphere to the design.

Build Quality and Comfort
The watch features a 42mm stainless-steel case, with brushed and polished elements that give it a balanced appearance. During wear, it feels neither overly heavy nor too light.
The blue Italian leather strap with red stitching reflects Spider-Man’s colour scheme but still works as an everyday strap.
The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating helps visibility under bright convention lighting.

Movement and Everyday Function
The Web of Time uses the Seiko NH35 automatic movement, which is known for reliability and ease of use.
Power reserve: around 36–41 hours
Restarts easily after stopping
Manual winding operates smoothly
No unusual noise or wobble during wrist movement
With 100m water resistance, the watch is suitable for daily wear rather than being purely a display or collector piece.
Case Back and Small Details

The engraved case back features the Spiderman text, adding a subtle character detail without being visible during normal wear. The Web of Time feels like a functional everyday watch inspired by Spider-Man, rather than a collector-only novelty.
Final Thoughts
The Spider-Man Web of Time watch delivers a balanced combination of character design and everyday functionality. The embossed dial, subtle lume, comfortable strap, and mechanical movement come together well, and the feedback from Spider-Man cosplayers confirms that the watch appeals visually without feeling overdone.
